Sister Bonnie Cordon and Sister Lisa Harkness, Church General Auxiliary Leaders, to Visit the Africa Southeast Area

In May 2019, Sister Bonnie Cordon, Church Young Women General President and Sister Lisa Harkness, First Counselor in the Church Primary General Presidency, will visit eight cities in four countries of the Africa Southeast Area.

Church Young Women General President, Sister Bonnie Cordon and First Counselor in the Primary General Presidency, Sister Lisa Harkness will visit the Africa Southeast Area to train Church leaders, meet with Government Leaders, minister to members, and view humanitarian projects in four countries.

            
                 

Leaders and members in Port Elizabeth, Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa; Lubumbashi and Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo; Maputo and Beira, Mozambique and Antananarivo, Madagascar, will be blessed by the visits of Sister Cordon and Sister Harkness. The Sisters will also have the opportunity of viewing Church humanitarian/welfare projects in Mozambique, The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Madagascar, and meeting with government/community leaders in South Africa and The Democratic Republic of the Congo.  

Port Elizabeth South Africa Stake President, Sinethemba H. Neku, reflected the attitude of the many members who will have the opportunity of having Sister Cordon and Sister Harkness visit the Africa Southeast Area when he expressed his gratitude and enthusiasm for the personal visit of these wonderful sisters to our Area.
