President Eyring and Elder Holland set to speak to the youth of the Church

Youth can ask questions, share comments on social media

Youth in the Africa Southeast Area of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will have the opportunity on Saturday, March 4, 2017 to participate in a worldwide broadcast featuring a discussion with President Henry B. Eyring, First Counselor in the First Presidency, and Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

All youth are invited to watch and invite their friends and family to join in the experience to learn about prayer as part of the 2017 youth theme. Youth will also be able to ask questions before the event through various social media channels using #LDSface2face.

They can also ask them on the LDS Youth Facebook page.

The event will be streamed live on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. MST (20H00 SAST) on LDS.org, face2face.lds.org, the LDS Youth YouTube channel, and the LDS Youth Facebook page. Youth can also watch with their friends or family at home.

The broadcast by President Eyring and Elder Holland will originate from Palmyra in New York, where the Prophet Joseph Smith, the founder of the Church, received the First Vision in the spring of 1820, culminating with the restoration of the Church in 1830.

Hill Cumorah, where Joseph Smith received the golden plates later translated into The Book of Mormon, is located about three miles southeast of the farm where he grew up in Palmyra. Members of the Church consider The Book of Mormon to be another testament of Jesus Christ.
